On May 7, 2026, the NEW ZEON community hosted a meeting dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijan’s National Leader, Heydar Aliyev.
The evening was opened by NEW ZEON founder Ilya Flaks. He welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude to Elmira Akhundova for her attention and support for the NEW ZEON community. He also spoke about NEW ZEON’s active work, including creative and social initiatives aimed at supporting young people and developing the cultural environment.
The special guest of the evening was Elmira Akhundova - People’s Writer of Azerbaijan, Honored Journalist of the Republic, biographer and author of books about the life of Heydar Aliyev.
During the meeting, guests heard exclusive facts, little-known stories and personal recollections that offered a deeper insight into the scale of Heydar Aliyev’s personality and legacy.
