Memorial evening dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev

On December 12, our community hosted a screening of the documentary film “The Heart of a Leader” by director and journalist Mikhail Gusman, dedicated to the life and legacy of Heydar Aliyev.

The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the national leader.

Among the attendees were Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, as well as prominent public and cultural figures of Azerbaijan.

The author of the film, Mikhail Gusman, shared his reflections on the work and emphasized that the entire life of Heydar Aliyev was devoted to serving Azerbaijan and its people.

Among the honored guests were People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, singer and composer Polad Bülbüloğlu; writer Elmira Akhundova; journalist Alexander Budberg; Deputy Vice President of SOCAR Vitaly Beglarbekov; TV journalist Shakir Eminbeyli; Anna Ibragimbekova and other distinguished guests.
