The event brought together 7 teams and participants from different countries.
Representatives of the CIS, Somalia, The Gambia, Uganda, Ecuador, Israel, Egypt, Iraq, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, and Palestine, Azerbaijani students, as well as a team from the Olympic Village, all came together on the same pitch.
The tournament was officiated by international referee Evgeny Zadiran, a resident of our community.
Over the course of 5 hours, the teams played 25 matches. The atmosphere on the pitch was electric, with fans enthusiastically cheering on the players all the way to the final.
In addition to trophies for the top three teams, individual awards were presented to the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper and Top Scorer.
The Olympic Village team received a special award on behalf of Ilya Flaks in recognition of their brave, courageous, and selfless performance.
For our community, ZEON CUP was more than just a sporting event. It was a powerful example of how New Zeon brings people from different cultures, countries, and communities together through sport, energy, and genuine human connection.
